Q: I have a 96-98 and I just got an aftermarket head unit, why doesn't my keyless work anymore? A: Because, your factory keyless reciever is in the factory head unit. You'll need to get a special wire harness and stuff your factory head unit back up under the dash if you want your keyless to work again. Q: I have a 96-00 LX, can I get factory keyless? / How do I program my keyless remotes? A: Yes! All 96-00 (Maybe 01- up too) Civics with power locks have the reciever for keyless, all you need are the remotes. Once you get the remotes look here for programming instrucations. http://www.honda-acura.net/forums/showthread.php?t=202634 Q: What's an Ohm? A: Ohm is a unit of resistance or, in our case impedence since sound isn't DC. The symbol for impendence is Z. Anyways, here's how to calculate your total impedence. Series: Z(total) = Z1 + Z2 + Z3 + ... Parallel: 1/Z(total) = 1/Z1 + 1/Z2 + 1/Z3 + ... Q: I still can't find what I'm looking for, what do I do? A: Check out www.the12volt.com for almost everything you'll need. Q: I'm a newb, what system should I get? A: Shut up and do some homework, the search button is in the top right.
