I'm still having an issure with my cel coming on every other week with the code 45 which is running too rich or too lean. I don't know if a new primary 02 sensor would solve it, or if i should just get an 02 simulator. I don't know which sensor is causing the issue. I might just get the new primary since it can't hurt, they need to be replaced anyway, and if that doesn't fix it, maybe get the simulator.

you install the o2 simulator on your secondary sensor's signal. What does your CEL say? Usually it will specificy if its the primary or secondary o2 sensor.

WTF ya still havent instaled the stechs yet...... you lazy B***ARD. LMFAO just cross your fingers and hope your rear lower control arm bolts come out with no problems.... but id still suggest new ones for the strut... after i removed mine the threads didnt look to great... just added security against striping them out with reinstaling..

Yeah i know the simulator is for the secondary signal, my problem is i don't know which one is throwing the cel, just says "too rich or too lean" (i can tell it's too rich). So i figure i might just try replacing the first (it can't hurt and most people get better mileage from replacing it on older cars) and if that doesn't fix it, I can get a hi-flow cat and an o2 simulator.

The ECU uses this signal to adjust fuel the SECONDARY tells the car that the cat is working! that's all it does. it doesn't care about air/fuel mixture

ORIGINAL: cderalow i run a high flow on my DX, no CEL.... learn to place your O2 sensors properly :-P is it a name brand? I've got a freakin "ebay" high flow cat/test pipe on mine, it doenst do sh*t for emissions, thats why my CEL is telling me my cats efficiency is basically worthless...w/e though, simulator is on it's way. and addiction i know i'm a lazy bastard hahaha Prom/graduation/paying off a ticket stopped me from having ANY money to spare, but finally its summer, compressors are on their way, and i got lots of time to install. When installing my short shifter i used Liquid Wrench and it loosened up some bolts that were really rusted, hopefully it'll work on the LCA bolts as well and since i'm here, i ordered a T25 last night no shaft play, $80 shipped from a guy on Turbod16.com. Now comes the rest of the kit: http://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_434923/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm#434923
