Default Mustang vs CRX

Hey guys, well this happened a while ago, but i figured i would give a post. I was coming from the supermarket late at night (No one was on the road) and i see some some headlights coming up on me. I slow down a little to see what it was. It ends up being a beat up looking crx. I am a little hesitant because a know thats one car that can be made pretty quick for cheap. I decided to give it a try. We were cruising at about at about 40mph, sitting at 3rd being around 2200k. I hear him gun it! I was trying to decide to whether to downshift, but i didn't. He got up to about my front wheels and then i got up into around 3000k (the sweetspot, lol) and proceeded to pass him by. He was at my back bumper when i shifted to fourth and i think he just gave up. So i slow down and he flies by me. A light was coming up about about 1/8mile up so i decided to go to the light so we could talk. But he just blew me off! It was a good time, i really wanted to know if he had anything done to his car. I know he had aftermarket headlights, so there is a possibility he had something done. Ohh well maybe next time.

the si has a sunroof and a 1.6 VTEC (d16z6)... 90 hp vs 125 in a car that weighs nothing

I don't know if it would be so easy. I am sitting at the crank with atleast 190hp and 220tq(Stock). Now he definitly has the advantage of being about 900lbs lighter[&:]. What do they normally run in the 1/4?

my friend's 91 si will rip me a new one, and i've beat a v6 stang on the track... by a bumper... so i'm sure a crx si would tear up a v6 stang

Yea and he may have 190hp at the crank, but not near that to the back tires. And power to weight ration on a V6 mustang is not to (to say the least) the greatest.
