Default Squeaking when I push down on one side

First the basics. I have a 1998 Civic LX (auto) with 130K miles.

I noticed some squeaking when I was driving today. I got out of the car, and pushed down on the body for all 4 corners. The squeak is coming from the front right side.

I don't think its related to the brakes, I have heard that before, and its sound different - kind of like a creaky floorboad in an old house.

Thanks!

Sounds like a bushing or shock.

dito... nothing to be realy concerned about if its just a squeaking..... mine does on the drivers front side alittle.... but only when im parked i think....
if concerned just get some WD40 and spray the rubber bushings or around the springs.

could also be a dry ball joint /tie rod end or a dry bushing
do like addiction2bass said justspray all your rubber bushings & joints & see what happens

o ya good point.... tho i greased all my ball joints at least I HOPE i didnt miss any!!!!!! i did that when i bought the car.
if you havent had that done you should do that first off... and then just dab some grease into the bushings and try to spray alittle WD40 in as well which should run deep into the bushings beter than the grease..

WD40 did the trick.

I took the wheel off and basically sprayed anything that looked like rubber. If it happens again, I will be more scientific about it, but this is good enough for now.

Thanks!

well it woul dbe best to take the car in for a oil change and lube....
the WD 40 works alittle BUT if it comes back or you hear any poping ya definatly need to grease up all the joints and such.

the WD is best to find out WHERE the noise is comen from...
