I think he is just talking about street cars more then strip cars.  Plus, Who wants to cruize around in a gutted car??  When you say modded, you have to include what mods.  All it takes is money and time.  Any car with that combo will own anything.

hell if ya wanted to go super moded... slap a body shell on a tubed chassis slap in a huge motor and any and all other goodies you can think of... weights the only thing slowen them larger motor vehicles....

i wanted to do a tube chassis on my 84 crx cause it was rusted to hell and just swap all my motor and such in it... cannt get any lighter than a rusted out POS.LMFAO but i just sold the car.

well truth be known pulling the weight off a civic dont dramaticly alter times as they were on a diet from the factory anyway. Even a full weight ek chassis is a mid 13 second car with a K

i just added another car to the list about 20 minutes ago...a Nissan Altima 2.5  it sounded like $H1T though and it had a sticker on the back that said "familia" I was getting on the freeway and it had to merge, it was uphill and he had to get over. He was next to me and he floored it, (I could tell because he had a crappy exhaust that was soo loud) so i gave him the second gear pull hahaha
