Default will hi flow cat pass emissions??

i was wondering if a hi flow cat like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/92-93...QQcmdZViewItem
will pass emissions. If not which ones do?

no that one will not pass
thats a test pipe . a good hi flo conv. will run about $100 or more
but yes a good hi flow cat should pass emmissions

Actually, that thing is actually more of a resonator than anything. A test pipe is literally a straight pipe. Get a magnaflow high flow cat. I got one off ebay for like $50 shipped, and had it welded into my exhaust piping.

what a scam of an ad. they explain and even have diagrams of how a cat works, an din the diagram, it clearly shows the honeycomb in the exhaust path, then the picture shows that you can see straight through the "cat".

hi flow cats will pass emissions. but to be sure, you can buy a can of "You will pass SMOG" and you pour it in your gas tank with a half full tank then get it smogged, and it will pass no matter what
