I know this is not the best way to boost your engine but I was wondering, how many lbs of boost does the B16A, B18C, & D16Y engine can take with stock bottom end & drivetrain?

For which engine? I've heard that the B16A & the B18C can take boost very well even without building the drivetrain & bottom end.

The b16... and 13lbs is pretty good IMO. My engine is pretty strong and I think it can only take like 10 or so for daily driving?? I dont know alot about the B18 with boost

What have you done to your Corolla? Do you boost the engine? You have the 1ZZ engine right on your car?

Yeah the 1zz-fe with just the basics... AEM intake and pulleys, Tein Springs (2.5"), Hotchkis sway bars and Strut bar, TWM short shifter, and some cosmetics like 17" Motegis, grill, smoked tails, and badging.

My supercharger should be here the first week of July along with my TRD exhaust. Then when I round up some more money I'm going to look into a header. Right now im running 15.8 in the 1/4 (off af a g-tech), the blower should get me in the hi 13's to low 14's.

Which company is making a supercharger for Corolla? Is it from TRD also?

If you think you might want to put a lot of boost on it, you should go ahead and build the bottom end. It'll save money in the long run.
