Default Sound system

Ok guys so im looking for a VERY loud system. Ive searched about kicker, because those are the subs id like to use and ive found out that some love them and others say the solo's are sh t. Now I love the look of the solo barics. I like good sounding stuff also so i thought about 2 15"L7's and maybe 2 10"s. What would yall reccomend for a loud ass system (amps, subs, everything)? Im pretty new to the whole sound world. Also im looking to spend as little money as possible as i race atvs and that sucks more money than i know whut to do with, i mean race fuel is about 6-7$$ a gallon. Thanks guys.

Bandpass blows, If you want loud as hell, go with ported, and power the hell out of the sub, within 90% at least, of its required RMS wattage.

I wouldn't mix sizes though, get 2 L7 12's and a badazz amp, ported, it will be more then you can handle.

Have to have the power though, none of those junky ass 4000 watt Bob's Car Stereo amps.

1 12" L7 wants 750RMS and can peak out at 1500 watts, that means if you get 2, you need an amp that will push 1500 RMS watts, and the peak value will be through the roof, 3000 maybe. They also want a larger box, if ported, so your looking at almost 2 cubic feet per sub, meaning less trunk space, but more overall sound.

Your subs are going to be pretty high, but the amp will be ungodly, 400-500 min. If thats something you want to spend, upwards of 1k, let us know and we can try and suggest some amps, or Kicker combinations.

If you were to just get 1 L7 12, and run it to a smaller mono amp that pushes almost 750RMS watts, you could get away with that too, and probably still be pretty dang loud. It's all in your spending limit I guess.

ok i allready have one L7 15" and am goin to go with 15's. And as far as amps under 600$ sounds good, but ill have to save up, dollar general dosent pay that well. But there are some bad ass cars around and the owners all are putting kicker down, i want to show them wrong because ive seen kickers that drive the air out of your chest. trunk space.....IMO thats system space. id like a little bit but if better sounds means less space so be it, im a perforemance guy in motors and suspenion and sound!!!! thanks stumasters you seem to know your **** man.
