Hey guys.....i'm new to the forum and i live in north jersey....I just bought a 2001 civic coupe ex a few months ago. i plan on getting new wheels and tires and dropping my car pretty soon....i was thinking about going w/ 17's but i drive in nyc alot....and i just wanted to know your thoughts/recommendations on whether 17's will hold up in nyc and if you do recommend it....what tires/tire sizes do you recommend? also any problems w/ dropping your car? thanks alot...i really appreciate it!!

i live in nyc in queens, pothoples r pretty rough down here, i would go with 16's with 205-45-16 tire size

Thanks IC, i appreciate the input.....anyone else out there ride on 17s in the NYC area? i would love to get input from someone that is using 17s as well...thanks in advance!!

well one of my friends has a mr2, with 17 inch tires and another who has a lancer...although it looks good ive been on their car and the ride quality sucks, when they hit a pothole u feel it harsh, but hey its ur car go with wat u want, i personally am getting 16" konigs next month, i think 16's look good oncivics, but good luck with wutever u do, feell free to ask anymore questions
