Well I just bought another civic its a 92 Civic hb cx. Well I have been looking into swaps or just building on the engine currently in the car. I was told it was a jdm swap but I cant find the the engine code on any site or manual its a d15b. Any light you could shed on this would greatly helpful and appreciated
dude ditch tha d series go for a b16,b18,b20 they have some reasonable prices out therejust something besides that d15....a b series swap is supposedly the easiest swap & for a fact tha cheapest...tha only other swap i've heard of is a k20 & h22a.....but those arealsoexpensive & a pain in tha ass....tha h22a will break tha mounts in about a month of hard racing....drivin' normally still only gets you about a year & a half

bahahaa where are you getting this info? B series will cost way more. There are lots of 300+ whp D engines out there...H22A breaking mounts..huh???
Yeah thanks any how but I found out for sure what the guy who did the swap did for sure and I just gonna either put the jdm d15b head back on it or swap for a d16z6 mini me to reclaim the horses there as well as the vtec.
yeah and accordingto the people i have talked to said with it just have d15b it is truly a jdm block, also that is what the guy I bought it from said also. but for the life of me i can figure out why they switched the head
Well this is probally gonna sound stupid but do you no what head the short block came with cause mine came with a pm3-12 and someone told me that was a d16a6 head. thats why I have been looking into the mini me swap to atleast regain vtec and hopefully find some lost horses
