its the top of the spring slipping, my guess is the top hat (rubber support piece) isnt on right. Mine did that for awhile and that was the reason, once the jack was lowered the rubber grommet moved...

yea i knew what the numbersmeant on 17's, i learned the hard way with 215/45/17 on the civic lol. Much too wide and much too thick. I just get confused with the smaller sizes cuz all the ratio's...

Nexen***** I have driven around with the Nexen N3000 summer tires, 215/45/17 and i would highly recommend them. They stick really well in rainy and dry conditions, and dont wear fast or unevenly....
