Default ED/EF engine swap

Hi, I'm from Australia and need some help with my 1988 civic 3dr hatch.
I think it's known as ED here in Aussie.
anyway, bought the car with a broken engine. planning to do a transplant/engine swap with a B-series engine.
currently it has a twin carb D15B in it and thinking of getting an EG B16A (half cut).can this be done? what do ineed for the swap? will it involves any welding etc?

read on internetthat in USA the've got a mount kit that willmake the swap an easy job, will this mount work for the Aussie models?

thanks in advance.
