DC header torque specs and gasket

I am going to be getting a DC header within a couple of days for my 2000 Honda Civic and i was woundering if i will need a new exhaust manifold gasket for the new header or if i will be able to use the old one. And what are the torque specs for the bolts when putting the new DC header on.

RE: DC header torque specs and gasket

The most important thing is that you tighten it from the inside out. Torque doesn't matter that much (just get it tight enough, but don't shear any studs). Once you get enough experience with cars, torque becomes unimportant (except on the obvious things...)

Yes you should get a new gasket like he said inside out just not super tight.
