My friend was talking about putting a stock turbo from and eclipse in his 2000 civic. Can this be done? What other things do you nee to do to put it in? How much would it cost?

Yes, it could be done with the parts that would be needed for any other turbo installation. Do a search to find what parts.

You should post this in the correct section.  It will be cheaper for the most part, as long as the parts are quality ones.  Piecing your kit together is what a lot of guys do on here.

Same principle as buying a new one, just cheaper. The DSM turbos have different flanges then the t3/t4 that are so popular, so you either have to find a manifold, fab one up, or buy an adapter plate. I have an Eclipse turbo on my car and I (for now) am using the exhaust manifold from an HF with an adapter.
