So we are sitting at a stoplight when this 4 door gold civic B16 pulls up next to us.  He starts staging at the light; rolling back and inching foward...  The light goes green and we take off (in the rain uphill), First he pulls on me slightly and then I hit second and grab traction and start to pull in front of him.  Eventually we get to where I need to turn onto the freeway and slow down when I am one car length ahead.  I slide in behind him and sit waiting at the light.  The best part is when we got to the light and he realized he just got beat by a civic ex with three people in it.  I am not sure if the guy just didnt know how to drive or if he was just an idiot... or maybe both.  But I Know the D16Y8 isnt THAT fast.  Only mods I have are I/E and then Tanabe Coilovers.  Oh well... It was fun watching him try to keep up after we got on the freeway...

I thought the only model with the B16 was the si, and I didn't think si's came in gold and as a sedan.

Ok i am not going to tell you not to street race because everyone has done it atleast once from a light, but have common sense man.  Racing in the rain!! That is just asking for trouble.

they didn't.... so unless the kid knows the owner i'm calling bs

otherwise it was a wannabe "Si" sedan... aka sedan with an identity crisis

correct me if I'm wrong, but 6th gen Si came in 4 colors? one body style

or was it silver and not white... definitely the blue, red & black though

Electron blue, black, white & red?

SI's up untill the 8th gen only came in coupe or hatch body styles but a B16 is not the allmighty bad ass engine everyone thinks it is. A Y8 with bolt ons is every bit as fast untill about 5000 to 5500rpm
