Default grounding question...

I just want to make sure that I gonna do this right...

The yellow is the wire, the red dots are where I am gonna attach them. Is the image the right way to do it. I will be keeping the stock grounding points as well.

i would at least keep a chassis ground from your valve cover. the others i would just run them to from the battery to chassis points and some to the motor

I don't know if there's really a "wrong way" to ground the engine. As long as the stock grounds are still being used, any extra ones you create are only going to add to their effectiveness.

I am in the midst of trying to update my grounds, but I am just pulling the old gay stock wires out and throwing some good high quality 4awg in there in it's place. I am too lazy to go to extremes.

Windcalmers' civic is awesome! Baby blue is really nice.. you should paint the HONDA on the valve cover white, though.. and where did you get all those blue tubes? I should put my own engine picture up so I can see where to do it to my car... my battery is in a different place than your car..

Hey Windcalmer I hope you dont mind me piggybacking on your thread.... when someone answers you could someone draw those lines on my engine bay so I can get an idea as to where I should put the wires for my car?

Default RE: grounding question...

hehe It's the one you made.. I am wanting to run better ground wires like you have in your picture up top... but my battery is in a different place so I was wondering if you could highlight where abouts I should connect the ground points...

Skateman reccommended me relocating my battery to the trunk but now I am hearing that it shouldnt be moved... so until then I dont mind spending a few bucks to ground my car better... thanks!

And how many feet and connectors and size wire should I run?
