Default New fuel rail 93 civic

I have a 93 Civic and im thinking about upgrading to a "AEM" fuel rail. Will this add any horespower; what are the advantages of a high flow "rail" ?

its not going to do much unless your fuel demands are higher than normal. if you are using some form of forced induction or have raised the compression and changed the fuel pressure or maps, then it can help. its not about HP, its about not blowing up your motor from too lean a mixture. its not worth it unless you already have a lot done.

I guess what Im trying to do is add a few more horsepower without going broke. I want this because I would like to have a little more push on the interstate and zero to sixty in hectic traffic.

Thanks for the info!

get an AEM intake. either the cold air, or the V2. then, get a quality (such as Greddy) cat-back exhaust system. injen is another good brand of intake BTW. get a higher quality one, it'll fit better and should see a little more power than a cheaper one.

Thanks again for the info. I've read many of your post and you know your "stuff". I have an "AEM" intake but the exhaust thing is now on my list.

You should also get a dc sport header. Get a 4-2-1 if you want low end power and 4-1 for high end power.

Also i heard you only need fuel rail if your running turbo or supercharge. Someone correct me if im wrong.

basically if you increase the fuel demands, so yeah, FI or higher compression and raising the fuel pressure or new injectors.

get the throttle body and the manifold, but you dont need the injectors yet. save your money for now. youd be better off getting an adjustable cam gear and/or an aftermarket cam.
