Default WTB: B series tranny

i need a b series tranny but i dont wanna spend more then like 125 on it all together...i also need the shift linkage for a 90 teg 4 door...if i can find one at the junk yard i can get the tranny for 100 but i dont have time to go there rigt now so i figured i post up and see if any of my buddys on hcf wanted to hook me up..

ive got an s80 tranny off an b18c1. but its 650. its the strongest b series tranny made with the best gearing for the strip and road.

well, that depends on how you look at it. i like the shorter gears in the b16 tranny, and the gsr tranny is no stronger than the other dohc vtec trannies. actually, the ITR or CTR trannies are the best. but he needs a cable one anyway. he forgot to mention that.

hasport has the cable to hydro conversion kit.....so you can use either on another note i build and rebuild honda transmissions. no dohc tranny is stronger in terms on lasting. all share the same weaknesses. maybe you mean stronger as in ass dyno comparing acceleration or something? heres the best accel geared trannies avail for the s80 casing. b18c5 is stronger(accel) as per gearing and lsd

Y80 USDM B18C1 3.230 1.900 1.360 1.034 0.787 3.000 4.400
S80 w/LSD USDM B18C5 3.230 2.105 1.458 1.107 0.848 3.000 4.400

w/e . rickey at mts tuning turned some wicked ratis for me in a pos ys1 housing and they held up to my 485 motor pretty dam well. props to honda for designing some tight ass ****
