After doing quite a bit of research i have found out that the engine that i have in my car is about the worst honda engine ever made (Performance wise) So i have decided i'm going to do a K20 Swap but i have a problem, i live in New York ( The Bronx ) and the only shops i know of i dont trust them. So i was wondering if you guys knew any shops in New York that i could go to that are reputable and do good work?

carmine theirs a shop in queens that a lot of people recommended me2, its called rpm, their pricey i think $2400 for a full k20 shop but their work is good from what i hear...their located 217-85 98th avenue Queens village NY 11429
i went to them to boost my d15b7 engine..... they wanted $4k for the turbo kit and installation which i find to be to expensive, but hey check them out maybe u like them

Thanks for the info IC8, but is it like yourprovide the Complete K20 motor changeover and theycover the rest of the small parts plus install for $2400? Most of the forums that i read and shops i'v been to charge $1000-$1200 to do it if you bring them everything. Other then ebay do you happen to know a place that sells the motor and the other parts needed for swap? Also does anyone know where to buy the engine that is in the newer 05-06 Type S or is it the same motor with some upgraded internals?
