fiberglass for looks? custom fitment? or perfroamcne? Normally unless you want a really custom box just get yourself a nice wood one. Ported for boomy bass, sealed for tight accurate (but still good) bass

I am diggin that tripple 10 box, I wouldn't mind buying that myself.. in the future of course.

I say the dual boxes look pretty decent too. I would say its a go, if you can afford em.

I've always thought about getting a NICE looking amp, like maybe one with a plexiglass cover and LEDs inside, and mounting it on the underside of hte top part of the trunk and running wires so that when you opened up the trunk, the amp would be like almost at eye level, mounted to the bottom side of the trunk lid. Thatd be crazy along with the triple 10" box

well if ya do mount a amp on the trunk lid... do a few things... one COOLING FANS!!!! and also use some rubber insulators between the trunk lid and amp!
other wise the harsh vibrations will destroy the amp!

fiberglassing is actualy preaty easy to do... just takes doing it to get the hang of it.LOL you definatly learn when doing it!
i was building a fiberglass box for my truck... i got as far as glassing the floors shape and then i stoped... BUT you learn as you go definatly! like for me.... build a fiberglass frame first.LOL i didnt... and just cut the finished glass off to fit the MDF around it... so now i have to glass the fiberglass to the mdf now if i woulda glassed the frame to it i woulda been done with the box.... BUT i put it on hold when i got my civic and its been siting since....lol
but as soon as i upgrade my civic to a larger system im just gonna put the old system into it..... thats what i was planing the box for anyways.....

and if you dont care for the PAINTED smooth face fibreglassing is realy easy.LOL its the finishing touches that make glassing hard to do!
