Misc questions

This is t he setup that I bought. Now all I need are the e-brake cables, proportioning valve, rotors/pads and maybe braided lines.

question #1: can I use something like this for a proportioning valve? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...949648086&rd=1

question #2: Can I adapt existing cables to work??? What's the difference?

I'm almost at the point of installation(along with a bunch of other parts including the infamous BOV[sm=interesting.gif]), and I just need to be 100% clear and complete to go ahead

RE: Misc questions

i wouldnt use that prop valve, id just get an integra one. it'd be too easy to mess it up if you dont know what youre doing, and that could easily cause a bad accident. get new cables, for the disc brakes, the other ones wont work. and you might as well get DOT 4 brake fluid. it has a higher boiling point than DOT 3. its not a huge difference, but its like a buck more per bottle.

Can I use the proportioning valve out of a 90-93 integra?
