cathodes are fragile
 

i put cathodes on the backs of both of my front seats to shine on the floor in the back seat.. and within one week. both of them were broken. = (

one of them got kicked by someone sitting back there.. really softly i might add. and the other one just fell off of the double stick tape i used and broke when it hit the floor.. the price is right and the light production is amazing. but next time i need to be more careful. haha

lol moogly. yea it is. haha. well i was actually flying when i took that picture. my girlfriend took me on a planeride tour of chicago for my birthday a few days ago. it was awesome.

actually.. i have a secret mod for my car that nobody knows about.. see while all of you guys are wasting your money on turbo's and intakes.. i got the "car to plane" conversion kit... with the push of a button my car turns into a plane and its untouchable by anything on the road. haha

Huh I've owned several cathode tube units and all of them have protective tubes........... either way that always sucks, I've broken 2 4" bulb units in the bare (yea thin glass tube and my hands = bad idea) trying to do a custom light install...... yea I was pist....

LED's are also expensive and make hotspots. haha. i put LED's in my front seats. but i paid 60 bux for both of them (2 15" tubes). 2 cathodes with the same brightness and much better light production.. for 7 bux. lol. its almost worth buyin a bunch of them n just replacing them when they break. hahaha.

wow... iv enever broken ANY cathode tubes.........
odd.... and i had them on my trucks exterior for quite some time.LOL rocks werent problems but water was!

what color you usen? i got some spare greens... i used to go thru transformers quite a bit.LMFAO

Well this is a great sign, I just get done installing my cathodes, come inside and get on hcf and see a post about somone breaking theirs. lmfao.

oh i know about how cheap they are man, i have blue cathodes under my dash Oznium, and yeah for $7 you honestly cant complain haha i guess just warn people about them and maybe mount them in a more secure spot
