Yea but who wants to drive a gutted car??  I would rather drive a slightly slower fully equiped interior car then ride around on milk crates(exaggeration)

I even have back seats.

i dont have a back seat (in the white car), but i never ride around with more than one other person in the car...

and i wouldnt say that the 350z is as over rated as the rx8...the rx8 is a REAL pig.

just to let you guys know, 350z's are not as fast as everyone thinks. Buddy of mine w/a 96 hatch stock k20 typeR FULL interior whooped my others friends brand new Z by about 6-8cars. Off the line and on a roll. So yeah I'd pay 6g and get a k20 to put in my civic before i'd buy a 20-30K 350z just to lose to a civic with.

Stock civic k20typeR ran 13.1
Stock 350z ran 14.7

ya, civics aren't that fast either when stock, and for a new car, 30k is like an average, that new si 07 is like what, 25k? I like nissan cars and nismo is very good quality performance parts, my buddy has an old pulsar nismo tuned a bit and it lays a whipping to alot of cars, i just dont see why everyone cares if a 350z is slow stock or not, most 30k sports cars arent that fast (except for the wrx sti and a few others ) but anyways, yeah civics can be mad fast, but i think 6k could buy a pretty nice turbo kit for the Z, cause performance enthusiasts that buy a z, probally have money to spend on this car to make it fast, and as far as slow stock, i thought they were pretty quick, ive only ridden in one as a passenger, but we were doing about 190 up a hill, a long hill at that, so.... all im saying is the 350 is nice car, stop hatin dudes, they probally say the same about our civics

a K20 swap cost around $6000+ to get into that car also

and a stock 350z only running in the high 14s is being very poorly driven...even for the early lower powered models.
