Distributor: Optionimports
Product: Megan Racing Front Upper Tower Strut Bar
Car:1999 Civic Ex Coupe
Price: $70 shipped
Installation: The Installation was very easy. Instructions were vague as usual, but not really needed. All I had to do, was pop the hood, loosen the 2 strut bolts on each side, then bolt down each hangar on each side, making sure they line up. I also recommend putting in some washers underneath the hangar. Then with those in place, i just put the bar on making sure it lined up right, turned a few bolts and it was on. It took about 20 minutes
Review: I never knew such a little thing could make so much improvement. I posted a poll in the offtopic section about what my next purchase should be. A strut bar was one of them, and it was what everyone recommended. I didnt know that just 1 bar could be so easily noticed. It really was a great purchase thanks for everyone voting for it. If i drove my car without it now, i would probably crash. My car used to feel sooo sluggish around turns, and it would feel like the car was leaning really hard. Now I take turns no problem. Definately recommended. I will be getting all of the other bars soon

which picture is flipped? the one of the bar? i don't think so, read AEM and HONDA.. if anything the bar is installed so that the lettering is upside down from this viewpoint.

my bar came like that also, where its upside down. I just took the bar off and switched it so when you pop the hood it faces you

ditto

took about 20 minutes, had a slight problem getting driver side strut tower nuts loose (had to use a breaker bar)

beyond that, people might want to note, has slight problem fitting with stock DX airbox in place (I had to take off one of the clips, and break off a little plastic tab on it)

other than that, simple, straight forward, does tighten response in the front end quite a bit over the stock

I dont understand the handling differences. How does it improve turning stability. Can someone try to explain how it feels.

around corners when you come out, your car might wobble a little, but this way its tight and you're car stays even, idk, its really hard to describe, but its aweosme. Belive us, for real ;)you wont regret spending the $30
