Default ran it..

i went to my local track yesterday and ran my car. 00 civic si with an intake and exhaust.... i ran a scion tc with i/h/e. 1/8 mile i ran an 11.03 and he ran a 10.3. this is the 1st time i had ever raced so i didnt really understand the tree and my reaction time was a . 9 something. yea it sucked but it was fun anyways. does this time sound about right though?

and then get a good header, because that will free up a few more horsepower... lol.

btw, the scion tc has the same engine as the larger camry, so it has crazy torque compared to your car, but the scion is also a ton heavier.

if you're serious about racing your car needs to lose some weight.

The scion only has 160 hp and 161 ft lbs i believe. A d16y8 with bolt ons can pull a stock one. An SI with bolt ons should take the scion.

to answer your question...no, that doesnt sound right, but then again, the scion should be faster than that too...one of my cars ran 10.30s in the 8th, and it only runs high 15s/low 16s. I would think that your car should be in the mid 15s, and I believe that the TCs are in the low 15s stock.

post your 60' times and your trap speed.

Elevation is probably playing a role in the times here.What is your elevation(where are you at?)

he was probably at a race friendly elevation, as Montevallo, ALis only at 430 feet above sea level.

everyone keep in mind that the tc comes in two forms, the 160 and 200hp sc one
