Default turbo suggestions

At this pointI plan to build up the bottom end with eagle rods and pistons (open to suggestions) and turbo my d16y7. The thing is I have an automatic so im not sure how that will effect me but my goals are about 200-225hp. Is there anything i should do differently for an auto? I want a turbo that will give me good acceleration as i dont really need any top speed so what should i be looking for? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Would a kit like this be worth it or should i just piece my own together?

Im really open to any suggestions so any help would be appreciated!

id steer clear of ebay kits.. the money you save on them will go straight back into fixing and or replacing the parts that came with it.

your sig says its about pride... so take pride in your turbo. buy something high quality. you get what you pay for.. so save up n get something really good.

ebay turbo kits are a bad idea. Use Pete's Grocery List and piece your own kit together, and remember to get a real good tune too. Turbo = you get what you pay for.

if you have money for eagle rods and a hi quality pistonthen i would assume youd have enough $$ not to cheap out on the turbo kit

Im not trying to cheap out lol i just didn't know if the kit would be a good purchase. Also ive read things about people doing stuff to there auto trannys to make them better for turbo app's but they never said what so is there anything i can and should do to make the tranny better?
