Default Broken Spoiler

when i took off the stock spoiler on my 03 civic ex 2 door, there are 3 holes on the right side and 2 on the left, i planned to take it to a body shop and get it patched up, but because of the placement and color, they said it would cost around 900 to fix it cause they would have to paint most of the backside of the car, its silver, i cant put the old spoiler back on cause its broken, and a new stock one is around 650 for everything (labor and installation, spoiler)

does that sound right to you guys, 900 to fix this? here are some pics, any suggestions, maybe a aftermarket spoiler?

Who drilled those holes!?

Anywho. Follow this link.

A shop shouldnt charge you more than $150-200 to paint it.

I hope that helped!

i bought it with the wholes, it had a spoiler on before

do you know if i buy that spoiler on ebay if they will be able to match the paint color to the car?

because at the 2 shops i went to, to get the wholes patched up, they said that if they filled the, they virtally have to paint the whole back side of the car because it is silver, and that silver is hard to match so they would have to blend it and such

What the shop is talking about is called blending, they spray the new color over the old
and fade into the lower quater panel. Do you have to do it NO, it just looks nicer Yea,
$900. is about right but i say just paint the trunk.
