Default engine oil

every 1000 mile my oil seems to burn up til empty, i'm not sure whats wrong with it, there is no leak, but when the vtec does kick in smoke does come out my exhaust and when i open the engine oil there was smoke coming out, and i put oil in twice already(4 qts each time) ... help someone :X

yeah just checked it today, i blew a piston and its goin to cost roughly 2000$ to repair, im just engine swappin the bitch.

A blown piston will eat oil!! I am surprised you did not have to put more oil in than you did!

For 2K I would swap engines too!

its a good idea to check your oil at least once a week. i check mine 2-3 times a day

^^^ Yeah I check mine at least once per hour of driving. Which usually means once a day or once every other day depending on how much I drive that day.

Funny side note: Always put your oil cap back on. Failure to do so will cover your engine bay in oil. That is all. Carry on.

You "checked it" and found a "blown piston"? What exactly does that mean?
