Default Advice/thoughts on Repainting my '94

(been a while since my last post...)

So I'm planning on starting the sanding process of completely repainting my car in a week, Saturday. These are the planned changes...

1) go from white/primer white to completely black. I want to have red in the front. The red in the front becomes a blood splatter then fades out toward the middle of the car if that makes sense.
2) I want to put a grill in the front of my car. My aftermarket front bumper has an enormous mouth and is begging for a grill but I do not know the best way to install that. So I could use some advice for that.
3) but before all this I have to fix the cracks that I have accrued and fill in holes in my trunk from where my stolen spoiler was. I know how to do this so this shouldn't be an issue.

"justin, you crazy. that's a lot of work!" yeah, i know. and i don't have more than an electric detail sander. but look - I have help. I work for the San Francisco juvenile hall system. I'm gonna have like five or six juvenile offenders/helpers the whole way. and based on the DIY of painting with rattle cans I think I am going to go that route. Plus it seems like it'd cost less to do that rather than buy a spray gun or two plus all the paint.

So this is a post to announce the project and also just to get thoughts or whatever.

wow my suggestion is to do it right and get a spray gun and paint......but as far as the grill goes get fiberglass and thin metal strips that will fit in the grill and fiberglass the metal strips to bumper and then fold into grill to hold in place...

do yourself a favor and just get a spray gun, the right paint (DuPonts chromabase) and save some money and get an aftermarket clear....on a large scale the rustoleum<---complete ****...if anything go with duplicolor, at least they are automotive paints...rustoleum is for painting your ****n mailbox or lawnchair not a car.
