On the highway today by some fago in his V-dub, old ass 88-90 model Jetta. I didn't even see it comming.
I was rollin right, about 75, my normal full highway speed, when I ran up on this old junky half painted V-dub in the fast lane, holding up traffic. So I followed the Jack ass for about 2 minutes hoping he would move and allow faster traffic through. When he failed to, I found a spot, ripped down into 3rd and hit the 2nd lane, whipping past him around 90 to make the hole and get ahead. The driver then floors it, and rides my bumper until about 120, when I give up and slow down. About that time the driver, which will be named fago from hear on in, ripped it into about 3rd as well, and swerved 2 lanes to the slow lane, blitzed back over in front of me, and began braking me like I wanted to race. I just flipped him the bird and got settled in again at 75.
Obviously he had about 2-3k under the hood, not to mention boost, you could hear it clearly. I ended up just following fago to the next exit and getting off the highway.
SO.. I have come to the conclusion that I need a bigger engine, or boost, one or the other, or both, lol. I don't like to be pantsed by fago's rockin the V-dubs. Especially the old rusty models.
