Do you mean that there is dirt or sand in the pads from the manufactor or something I picked up from driving?

My 94' Honda Civic EX has sqweaky brakes since I replaced them. I've tried that orange gel crap but it didn't do a thing. I was told to take a hacksaw and cut grooves in the pad itself. Not to sure...

I've got one for you, check this out, my distributor is maxed out turning it counter clockwise which means (advanced)! Ok, my timing marks on the pulley aren't the same as the book shows, I'm missing...

I drive a 1994 Civic EX with a 1.6L Vtec and automatic tranny. My question is if a car has lets say 150,000 plus miles on it, can the timing belt be so worn out that the distributor adjusting slots...
