My car has been moved to the "Total loss" branch of the insurance co.......my civic is no more. It turns out what i thought was a fender-bender, actually cracked my rad. support and broke my shift linkage, etc.
The estimated repair cost was over 4k, and the bluebook value of my car is like $3500, so insurance will write me a check for roughly $2,500.
I have about $4,500 to put on new car...i would really love a black 00' Si or a teggy...ill probably start looking for a new car seriously next week.....man this sucks so bad.

dude that sucks...i had an old 93 f-150 that got totaled when someone ran a red light and hit me. They gave me 4K for it. I was happy with that...almost enough to buy my civic

$2,500!! wow you car was pretty nice to. Usually your insureance company wont let you take anything off the car. (Here in canada anyways) but if they do. You can part out that car for alot of money.
And i actually got good news today, the insurance co. will send me a check for $3700, thats only $300 short of what i paid for the car. I hope i can take my header and GSR wheels off.
i would normally instantly say get the integra, but that asking price is WAY TOO LOW for 2000+ model year GSR. something has to be really wrong with it.
the other cars are either too riced out or modified for me to touch it, except maybe the first blue si. but i think they're asking too much for that one.
after further inspection of the integra, i'd say stay FAR away.
the seller mentions he wanted to make the car a project car but gave up.
then i looked at the front and rear bumpers which have flaking/orange peel, which means the paint job was piss poor and it probably got into wrecks or fender benders.
