I never race with an auto tranny but I heard a lot of people drag race with an auto tranny. I'm curious, how do you launch the car properly with an auto tranny?

NTX 06-17-2004, 04:43 PM I wouldn't abuse a factory auto tranny, unless it's built for racing. Once the tranny starts slipping....it's over. green98lxsedan 06-17-2004, 05:26 PM dont destroy it tryin. not worth it NYC Civic 06-18-2004, 04:57 PM Yea I understand that factory auto tranny isn't meant for racing but I was just wondering how would launch properly just with an auto tranny in general whether it's a racing or factory auto tranny.
