theres a good chance that if u've taken ur car to the dealership, they've hosed it down. i kno for sure they spray every 01+ model cars(civics, cr-v's, pilots, etc..) and have seen them hose older models as well. i agree with u tho, better to be safer than sorry and it dosnt take much time. just sayin, the engine bay is pretty much completely water proof unless obviously drowned lol.
