Cleaning the Engine Bay Up!
 

I'm cleaning the engine bay up in my civic and I was stupid and bought Chrome Headers and they carotid really bad and look like crap. Does anyone know if how to get them to look nice or even if I could possibly paint them with high heat paint. This would just be temp.until I get the money for some ceramic headers.

Maybe sand them?

I just sent someone a link about this, I think it was James (my04civic). Hit him up he should still have it, I'm far too lazy to search again. If he doesnt have it let me know and I'll try and find it again

When you do clean them up again, and you touch them during install, clean them off very well before running the car. Oils and stuff from your skin are no good for hot chrome

Definitely sand them... I'd think Dupli-Color engine enamel would work as far as painting them.

Get some heat wrap for it...takes away ugly old crome and makes temps lower
