In the long run do you think it is worth hooking up the D17, since you have done so much to it? I just order some headers an exhaust and a 170amp alternator. I still need to buy a Vtec head and a vafc2 controller (APEXI VAFC2 II thats that one i was looking at) Could you give me a price range that a shop would give to install these parts? VAFCII will run you less than 170 and I bet the shop would include that in the 350 for the install. I did a "header" swap to EX.... there is also a "head" swap, which is COMPLETELY different, requiring the top of the engine being removed and replaced with the a2 vtec head and a vafc2 controller which goes in your car... but is it really worth all that trouble for an extra 10hp?
