hey guys....its 3:40 and i just came back from one crazy night[sm=bounceybounce.gif]...anyway while i was downtown i raced a integra. Im not to knowledgeable about car's body styles and things, but i could tell it was 94-98 body style of an integra...but anywho this is what happened.....
so im driving downtown with my friend, and where just cruise'n, going below the speedlimit....and we pass this white integra, it looks like he has an exhaust, but other than that im unsure....we continue down the road and within moments the integra does a "fly-by"....my friend just looks at me and i explain that 1: we're downtown, every cop in akron at this time in the morning is somewhere down here....2: i already have two speeding tickets, and my insurance isn't getting any cheaper......so i just continue driving the speed limit...but eventually we catch up to the integra, who gets caught by a red light...he rolls down his window and asks to race on the "Y Bridge"....which for everyone who isn't familar w/ akron is just two roads that form a brige in the shape of a Y[&:]....each of the roads are two lanes and one way.....as im debating whether to race or not, my friend points out that he has a blue NOS sticker in his left quater-panel, i smile and consequently give in....so, it only takes a second to get to the Y bridge, and we stop and the red light.....at this point i dunno whos going to win....i have a decent mod list, but have a crack in my exhaust....and while i thought it was funny seconds ago if this joker really has nitrous, the death should be short and sweet....but anyway we get ready....i do a quick check for cops and then look at the light...it turns green and where off.......w/ 1st gear i pull ahead but shift too early (around 5600 rpm's[&:]) and he gets about a half a car...but my 2nd pulls really hard, and i take the lead...and i keep the lead through 5th and about up to 90mhp and at this point im a good 3 cars ahead on him.... then i see cars ahead i ease up the gas and start slowing down...racing in traffic is just dumb....anyway the integra does a "fly by" and starts turning on and off his caution lights[>:]...but anyway i take it as a win.....and it was more fun than i thought it would be, and im glad i did
