Default 92-95 and 96-00 greddy kits

I can't tell the difference between the greddy turbo kits for the eg and ek yet the kit for the ek is afew hundred more than the kit for an eg. Does anyone know what the difference is?

different turbo sizes. The 19t turbo that comes in the ekis bigger than td04 of the eg, everthing else is the same.

Oh, I thought it would be the turbo size. Well I want a turbo that spools quickly anywayso do you have any idea what rpm it would spool on a d16y8? If it is around 3000-4000 then I will look into buying it in a few months if I pass a compression test and read up on turbos some more. Thanks a lot.

the td04 from the eg kit would spool faster. I don't remember quite well, but I think you would reached full boost around 3500rpm.

Thats exactly what I wanted to hear. TheEG kit is cheaper and I want a kit that spools around 3,500 anyway, thats the number I had in my head. I have been juggling ideas for months about what I want to do changing my mind almost every week between nitrous, boost or n/a and I am almost certain that I will do whatever it takes to boost now. Probably going to get a job then buy the kit, intercooler and bov, turbo timer, y7 steel oil pan, vacuummanifold,450 injectors, walbro fuel pump, boost gauge,chippedp28 andtune. Do one by one until I get it all together then put it on my car. Thanks for the help.

The E-Manages are different IIRC

But you're going to sell that and get real engine management anyway right?

Yea I'm selling the blue box to get money for the other stuff I need. Any idea where I can get a steel pre-tapped oil pan, I have seen one before but I can't find one on ebay anymore or froogle.
