I think 17s are ugly as sin on Civics. Never seen a 17 I liked on one. I like the look of 16s and 15s though. Opinions..

....Are like as*holes.

I agree I like the look of 15's and 16's. Although there are some good looking civics with 17's. Mill$ and jake to name a couple.

im also in the same situation. there are these 7 spoke rims and the 16"s come in a chrome sorta look but the 17s come in a gunmetal color, and i have a silver civic so im thinkin the gunmetal ones would look pretty sweet on a silver car. im also gunna paint my cailipers red and drums black:)

I had/have 17s (the chrome 3 spoke you see in my sig). They look sweet but rode "rough". I also have 16s (motegi mr7's)

Now that I have 16s I prefer them since they ride smoother, you can lower you car further w/o rubbing issues, and they tend to be lighter.

I don't really think my 17's ride all that bad... the ride quality is about the same as stock.  Anyway, it's really just preference and available funds... personally, I like 16's or smaller... the only reason I got 17's instead of 16's is because I got them on sale for like $50 more than the 16's would ahve been, so I figured "why not?"... I think they look pretty good:

well to be honest what do you want?  because this topic is going to be endless with all the different options u gave, everyone here likes different kinds.  so find some that suit you and your budget and just get them.  all the sizes are good in their own ways.

I like gunmetal or black with polished (machined) lip. These are getting really popular in Southern California right now. Remember that the lighter the wheel the better the ride, braking, and acceleration. If you can find a 12-lb 17-inch wheel at a reasonable cost, get it. But for me, the lightest wheels (at relatively low cost) are the 15 and 16 inchers.
