GSR and Type R are two different trim levels so there isnt a GSR Type R. B16's suck compared to the H22 and ITR motor. Go with the ITR motor.

b16's dont suck compared, it all depends on what he want with the engines, n/a or boost or what? from what i hear h22's are not the best choice for boost, but are good for n/a and s/c. b16's are good for n/a or boost or s/c but have a lil less hp and torque. but imo id get a b18 if u got the money or k20 if u really got money, lol.

i strongly disagree, jdm b16s come at a decent price for wut u get, b16 and gsrs respond well 2 boost, sure the h22s have 200 hp stock, but boost a stock b16 and put it against the h22 stock, b16 will win

I was told you couldnt do b series motors in 7th gens, not for cheap anyway.

for real, if you have the money, K20a :D

whats your budget, and what does the future hold? Keeping it n/a, turbo, supercharge, nitrous, daily driver?

no engine swap is really cheap unless you plan on dropping in another d series. and that would be redundant.

you could get a machine shop to custom fabricate motor mount brackets to accomodate a b-series swap but you'd have to live in an area where emissions testing isn't required, because many cities frown upon swapping in older engines. but it's been done.

if you're thinking about a k20a, you'd better have lots of cash. and then more cash. because they ain't cheap, and nor are the accessories to accomodate the swap. another problem is that k20as spin "backwards" compared to most other civic engines.

or you could just keep your current motor and boost it, but that's gonna cost you money too.

so get ready to spend. spend. spend.
