Right now, although my sig doesn't so it, my car is all white, no stickers.

I was thinking about putting on a SOHC VTEC decal on the body like the DOHC VTEC civics have.

I can never make up my mind about wheels. I had the original steelies with Hubcaps, then 15" del slow fat fives, then the 17" three-spoke chrome, and hopefully finally my 16" MR7's. I really like them and I haven't had a problem with them yet.

no SOHC stickers please;)

Oh no, I keep them on my sig in hopes that someone buys them. I did like them a lot, but they are too big for me. Plus I'm attempting to phase out the chrome and starting to introduce carbon fiber to my car. That's why the MR7's are gunmetal and I have the CF style mirrors. Hopefully soon to be a CF hood!

naw, i think DOHC VTEC stickers look alright on ssome 6th gen SI's, but i dont think i'd be THAT proud of SOHC to want everyone to know lol

Nah. Keep the sticker off and keep that car clean. Sticker is white right? It wouldnt look right on a white car as well.

I always thought those little white "dohc vtec" emblems were cool. I can't think of a better way to proudly rep the D. I would make sure it's something worth repping before putting that on there though, otherwise you'd = rice.

I hate to hate on your car but since we're all giving 2 cents here... I don't like the eyelids orthe windshield sticker, the drop seems too low in the front or too high in the rear (can't quite tell),I'm not sure what those yellows tabs are on your front bumper, and it looks like your hood and bumper don't quite line up.

Well, I have the D16Z6 with I/H/E. So for in comparison to the cars that actually come with the DOHC sticker on 'em, mine has more "power" parts.

For the eyelids and the windshield visor, I love them and they are going to stay reguardless. The windshield visor actually serves the purpose of keeping the sun out of my eyes. The eyelids, although this can be debated, keeps my lights out of on-coming driver's eyes.

For the drop, I have it set up so that the center of balance of the car is shifted furthur up, thus putting more wiegh on the front wheels. This is in hopes of getting more grip for autocrossing. I also like the look of it. As much as don't like SRT4's, I do love the way they sit.

Oh, the "yellow tabs" on my front bumper are what I used to mount my mesh. Due to Wisconsin's salt filled winters, the paint came off and the brackets started to discolor/rust.

As for the bumper not lining up with my hood, it's a freakin' 93. What year is your car kedawei? I'm not the original owner, thus the guy before me probably smacked something. Thanks!

rockin the sohc is cool, but tramp stamping it all over ur car isnt...keep it clean, no stickers IMO.

thanks for the input! I can't believe how close the poll is/was!! almost 50/50. I still don't know if I want to. I mean, if decide to do it, it will only be 5 bucks to do. If I don't like it, I can just throw it out.

I thought of doing that earlier this week when I saw a 97 Si the same color as mine (silver) with the darker grey sticker lettering for DOHC.I thought better of it when I realized that I need to save my cash for other, more important things.

I think you should too. Also, your car looks good. I like the newer rims in particular. Much better than the three spokes. I agree with others about the sun visor, though. I actually almost bought a set of Del Slo fat fives as well just this morning, but some clown decided to run them up mad expensive on ebay. I guess I was thinking that $65 bucks for them all would be reasonable, and $50 would be better. Anything but the stock steelies and rancid caps I've got.

check mine out... it's as close as it gets without it being DOHC.... I think it looks nice. Everyone that looks at mine says that they think it's an Si until they see the "S" OHC... I always get compliments....

don't get the SOHC VTEC. Advertise the fact that you havea VTEC engine....but don't advertise that you have a SOHC. If you beat somebody in race or something like that then you can brag about having a single cam. Find some VTEC stickers and putthose on your car. People actually look for the single cammers cuz there and easy target. keep them guessing...

^ but if you're not racing your car then you don't have anything to worry about.... And people don't try to look for me. You guys are all saying things that happen that I haveNEVER experienced with my vtec decals on the side....

like I said, I've hadthe decals on for a year now and no one tries to come up to me... That's just me though.

I'm proud of being a SOHC owner, but I'm not sure I'd advertise it with a sticker. Personally, I say no; I think when I turbo the car, I'm going to tape off the letters "SOHC" and paint the rest black (leaving the letters aluminum). I say find another way to rep the single cam.

to me it seems like you want to put the 'sohc' sticker, so just do it. it's nice to get people's comments, but bottom line, if i really want to do something, i'm gonna do it.

Well, initially it was only an idea. Then after responses that suggesting that I hide the fact that I have a single cam, I started to realize the "pride" I have for my car. So, if anything, the people against it made me more for it. If it happens, it happens. You'll all just have to check out my sig and see if it changes.
