The Del Sol is basically the replacement for teh CRX but being a variety of a Civic. hence the technical name fora CRX is Civic CRX, and for a DelSol it is Civic DelSol.

lmao, you'd be surprised how often i get called Luigi.  Yeah, on the registration for the car it says civic del sol.  Hub caps on one side, not on the other, thats how we rock it in VA lol.
Im in the process of taking pieces apart for cleaning right now, i would do like a how to for that, but i dont think im writing a haynes manual here. Right this second im doing my first customish mod, cleaning the cluster out and putting color over the light bulbs to make the cluster light up a different color (going to pick up the paint today) this mod was found at the solsociety website.  I know it should be the least of my worries considering the damage on the car, but its almost free to do and im strapped for a little bit.

I'm sorry to inform you, but there's really a high probablility that some, if not all valves are bent.  I assume that the timing belt snapped, since you stated that the car needs one.  But then again - it sounds like you will be doing a swap anyway, so it doesn't really matter
