Is this an ok engine. d16b7 How many HP does it have and how can i get a Vtec head swap?

there is no d16b7. there is the 92-95 d15b7, or the 96-00 d16y7. the b7 has 102 hp, and the y7 has 106. yeah, you can do the vtec head for either. remember, the 96-00 ex head (y8) has higher compression.

y8 is the best head. and what engine is it? the y7? if so, it will be pretty easy.

because of the y8 head having more compression what would you have to do to put it on the b7 head, or do you just put it on and thats it?????

I may have a y8 head I could sell you its only got 32000 miles on it. I will find out this weekend when i pull the motor.
