Ok I did the job today. I parked in the sun so all the water built up on the lenz, then just cut sick with a tiny screw driver and bored a hole in the silicone at the bottom and all the water drained...

Depends on your preference. I cant stand having no rear fill. Drives me insane. I have a sedan so I put even more money into my rears that I did into my fronts to create a even centralised soundstage.

When I park in the sun, the moisture just goes onto the inside of the lense. I am thinking I take the light off, put it face down in the shade and let it condense on the lense and then suck it out...
