Yeah, sometimes when I get bored, I pretend it's a five speed, and I'm all up in that mofo shiftin' gears lol... I'm swapping to a 5-speed this summer... anway, I'm painting the plastic trim black and replacing the carpet on the doors (I found a great write-up on Honda-Tech) with black carpet... the dash itself is already dark enough for me.. it's either a really, really dark gray or black, and that's good enough for me lol

if u sand off the grains on the plastic more then likely u will end up with deep sand scratchs. i would recommend just scrubbing them with a scotch brite pad and scuff stuff (found at any auto paint store) . if u want to get rid of the grains the right way to do it is to fiberglass it but that will take forever..

ORIGINAL: reaper2022 Well, I've slowly but surely been sanding down all the blue paint I had in the interior. When it finally gets warmer, I'm going to basically paint everything below the headliner satin black. Well, I figured that some people might be interested in how far I've come so far. (by the way, this time I'm going to paint everything correctly--the first time I painted the pieces, I was in a hurry resulting in a sloppy paint job. This time, it's going to be primered, painted, clearcoated, etc.) Anyway, here's what I was dealing with before I started: And here's what I have so far: I'll keep posting updates as I sand down more stuff and start painting everything. Don't mean to jack your thread but did Civics come with those tweeters?
