Yeah, sometimes when I get bored, I pretend it's a five speed, and I'm all up in that mofo shiftin' gears lol... I'm swapping to a 5-speed this summer...

anway, I'm painting the plastic trim black and replacing the carpet on the doors (I found a great write-up on Honda-Tech) with black carpet... the dash itself is already dark enough for me.. it's either a really, really dark gray or black, and that's good enough for me lol

if u sand off the grains on the plastic more then likely u will end up with deep sand scratchs. i would recommend just scrubbing them with a scotch brite pad and scuff stuff (found at any auto paint store) . if u want to get rid of the grains the right way to do it is to fiberglass it but that will take forever..

Well, I've slowly but surely been sanding down all the blue paint I had in the interior.  When it finally gets warmer, I'm going to basically paint everything below the headliner satin black.  Well, I figured that some people might be interested in how far I've come so far.  (by the way, this time I'm going to paint everything correctly--the first time I painted the pieces, I was in a hurry resulting in a sloppy paint job.  This time, it's going to be primered, painted, clearcoated, etc.)

Anyway, here's what I was dealing with before I started:

And here's what I have so far:

I'll keep posting updates as I sand down more stuff and start painting everything.

Don't mean to jack your thread but did Civics come with those tweeters?

5th gens: yes
6th gens: sort of, but in a different location

(they're not in all models and trims)
