I just bought one to put in my car and was wondering if there was anyway to power it u without using an inverter..... Even though it is DC... you would need something to downsize the power for the PS2. (fyi its and fm modulator) Any way, a modulator is only going to be a great as the fm band can ever be. A direct hook up via rca/patch cable will render you with way better sound. Also, If im not mistaken, some ps2 games have encoded 5.1 surround... or was it xbox? The point is if you score a good headunit that will decode that surroundy goodness, youll have surround sound in your car for real while playing some tom clancy.
