Default question

i know this sounds dumb but if i was going to do an engine swap for my 99 ex, what would be the best one to swap? and does it matter that my car is an auto?

Default RE: question

its more work because its an auto, but its not a huge problem. and i ask everyone with this question the same thing: what do you want to get out of the car? just a good way to get from point A to point B? a weekend drag race car? a full drag race car? an auto-x car? a circuit racer? a weekend circuit racer? Also, how important is your car to your life? are you willing to give up having all of the new video games, watches, clothes, CDs, and the latest Nikes? just to have a trick new part for your car? or is it going to be a side project. and how much can you really afford to invest in it? the answers to all of these questions will have a profound impact on the answer to your question.

Default RE: question

well, i dont wear watches or nikes, right now its my everyday driver, but when i get outta the AF and save up some $ thats when i planned on doing the swap, i dont need to do it, especially right now, i'm in no rush either, i just see myself down the road doing it, when i have the capital to do it. i just have no clue about how its done or requirements, thats what i was asking, probably just poorly written on my part.

seriously. i had to wear the same clothes for like three years. now ive got a better job, but its still a pain to afford stuff. i still buy a lot of my clothes at Ross and Mervyns, and off the sale racks at the mall.

Default RE: question

i want to keep the car clean for a while, the only reason i asked the question is becuase i have no clue about engine swaps and just wanted some info, i'd like to know what i would possibly be getting into if i decided to swap down the road.
