today i raced a ford focus zx4 and almost lost. i have an 07 coupe and almost lost to a focus sedan...he was rollin with a stick and i have an auto so maybe it was a lack of acceleration although i did power brake but he almost had me...bad day if you ask me.

i think he had me off the line and i caught him as i got into third but idk maybe its cuz i have an auto and he had the advantage of a stick but it was almost embarrasing. but once i got past him i blew him away by two legnths.

other than tha we got up to 90 about wasnt too fast but fast enough

/What you were doing when you came to a race/How the race got started/ some backgruond info on the car and yours/ the race through every gear to wear you let off/the outcome who won by how many leghnths.

^he was a friend of mine and he brags about how much he wins and all that. so i was like alright dude lets see what you got. both of our cars are all stock he has a focus zx4 and i have a stock 07 coupe lx. so we got to a light and i have an auto so i put it in 1st and gave it a lil bit of a power brake. he had a stick so he had a bit of a rev off the line. so he took me off the line and he was a half infront of me then in about third gear i was goin 80 and by the end of the race i had him by a legnth in a half. but still it was a focus and i should blew him away with no problem.

maybe it was a slow reaction time cuz it was my first real race and all but idk its probably just me. i was so nervous and i wasn't all there if you know how that is.
