Hey I just finished installing my viper 791 xv alarm/remote start, the remote start will activate the starting sequence but it will not turn over... it turns off within 5 seconds..... any help will do ????  thanks

is your black and white wire (neutral safety switch wire) on the remote start harness grounded? did you hook up a tach wire? if not did you program your brain to turn off engine checking?

also did you hook up all your ignition wires? a lot of times cars have more then just one accessory and one ignition wire and all wires need to be hooked up.

I am having the same problem. I have a galaxy 5000rs and here is the manual http://www.offroadtoyz.com/AlarmManuals/Galaxy5000RS6-30-03.pdf  
What wires do I have to hook up. I have a 98 civic LX. Do you know what colors should be hooked together?
