Default raced my brothers srt-4

Last night i wanted to see how my car would run against my brothers srt-4. We lined up on the highway and took off. 1,2,and 3 gear he only had me for about 1/2 a length once we hit the fourth gear at about 100mph he took off (fast) about 5 car lenghts. Damn those srt-4's are fast. He is not stock runing about 20 psi on a 50trim turbo. Oh by the way i used my nitrous too.

My car: 93 hatch. B16a2, DC header, Apexi exhaust, AEM cold air, Aem fuel rail and cam gears, MSD ignition, 55shot ZEX, GSR intake manifold, some other little stuff.

Brothers car: 2004 srt-4: 50 trim, wastegate, 3inch exhaust, intercooler, running about 20 psi.

no shame in that... its alot harder to make a civic fast than it is an srt-4.

Im trying to boost my car and get rid of my nitrous. Does anyone knowwhere i can buy a cheap turbo kit. I saw a kit on ebay for 1100 bucks brand new, is this a reasonable price because it seems kind of cheap.

naw dont do that, if its one of those "Buy It Now" for like $1000 with eveyrthing, its probably just a generic off-brand that will probably cause you problem, piece together your own kit with quality parts and you'd be much better off and save some moeny at the same tiem

Piece your own kit together and never buy one off ebay unless you like things that blow up and break down. But Nice race man [sm=smiley20.gif]

Review Notes: 2004 Dodge SRT-4 Personality Performs like a Camaro, convenient like a Neon Quirks Power front, manual rear windows; not called a Neon; great traction but squeals on powered turns Unusual features Instant-on feature for turbo Above Average: Unmatched performance in this price range; unmatched creature comforts given this level of performance in an affordable car Needs Work In: Can't that muffler be shut off? ... and some may find the seats uncomfortable Gas Mileage: 22 city, 30 highway (EPA) Scrape test Marginal (this means the bottom scrapes on sharp parking-lot ramps) Reviewed by David Zatz
